Aahliyah Amerat in a checked blazer, connecting ideas with practical solutions
INDEPENDENT PRODUCT BUILDER · LONDON

Real problems.
Practical solutions.

I build websites, apps and tools around the way your business works. We find what could save you time, cut the admin or help you earn, then turn it into something useful.

Continuity

CUSTOM APP · BEING TESTED WITH USERS01

A business. A family. One next step.

An app for self-employed mothers that helps them decide what to do next. They speak their thoughts, check the tasks and get a next step that fits the time they actually have.

Product strategyEasy-to-use designWorking app
The thinking behind it +
The problem

Most task lists keep growing, even when the time and energy available to do them changes.

What I built

Spoken thoughts turned into tasks you can check, a two-week look ahead at available time, a connected calendar and paid subscriptions. Improved through a real tester programme.

The principle

Design around the person’s capacity, then decide what comes next.

TEAM WORKSPACE02

Less chasing. More creating.

A production workspace that brings scripts, footage, feedback and approvals into one place. Each person sees the work that needs them next.

How the team worksConnected file storageTeam collaboration
The thinking behind it +
The problem

A remote content team was coordinating production across messages, folders and memory. Every handover became another question for the founder.

What I built

Daily tasks for each person, filming briefs, connected Drive folders and automatic checks for uploaded footage. Comments attach to the right moment in a video, and the team can sign off the final edit.

The principle

If the system can detect that work is done, people shouldn’t have to report it.

CLIENT APP · DEPLOYED03

Watch the match. Speak the report.

A scouting app built around a football agent’s working day. Spoken observations become organised player notes and a branded report.

Speak instead of typeNotes without signalPDF reports
The thinking behind it +
The problem

Taking structured notes during a match competes with watching the player. Poor stadium signal adds another obstacle.

What I built

Notes without signal that syncs when connectivity returns, separate player notes, structured scouting observations and branded PDF reports. Scoped, designed and deployed end to end.

The principle

The technology should fit the environment where the work actually happens.

CONTENT TOOL · USED LOCALLY04

From a script to a reel. With the final say.

A content production tool that matches a tagged footage library to a script and voiceover, with visual approval before the edit is rendered.

Finding the right clipsLess manual editingYou approve the result
The thinking behind it +
The problem

Finding the right footage and cutting it to a voiceover takes time away from creating and running a business.

What I built

Over 2,000 labelled clips, suggested matches for each line, previews and controls to adjust the edit before creating the finished videos. Runs on my computer with my prepared footage.

The principle

Automate the assembly. Keep creative control with the person.

Nursery workflow software

IPAD-FIRST APP · PILOT IN PROGRESS05

Built around a real nursery day.

A nursery app shaped through hands-on testing and feedback, designed first for the iPad and the people using it during a busy day.

iPad-first designReal-world testingNursery workflows
The thinking behind it +
The problem

The way software works needs to fit the people using it, especially in a busy nursery environment.

What I built

A working app being tested with a nursery. Feedback from real people is shaping the experience before it is offered more widely.

The principle

Start with one real setting. Learn from it before expanding.

02 / WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU

From “could we?”
to “it works.”

A focused website or a connected app.
The scope starts with what you need.

Websites that mean business.

Help the right people understand your offer and take action. Business websites, portfolios and sales pages with clear copy, thoughtful design and an easy way to enquire.

Discuss a website

Apps around your expertise.

Turn your expertise into an app people can use and pay for. We start with who needs it, what it should help them do and the clearest first version.

Discuss an app

Less work. Better systems.

Give your team one place to work, connect the tools you already use and take repetitive jobs off your plate. Start with where time or money is being lost.

Discuss your workflow

Every project is scoped individually. You’ll know what’s included, what it costs and how we’ll work together before we begin.

03 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE BUILD

Business head.
Practical thinking.
Builder’s hands.

I’m Aahliyah. A founder, a mother of two, and the person who turns the “there has to be a better way” into something you can actually use.

I’ve been self-employed since 17. I know that a product has to do more than look good. It needs to make sense for your customers, your business and the way you work.

I bring together commercial thinking, practical problem-solving and AI-assisted building. You work directly with me. We use real customer feedback to improve what we make, and agree what to test before committing to more.

04 / FROM FIRST IDEA TO SOMETHING USEFUL

You know your business.
I help make it possible.

You don’t need to speak tech.
We work out the right next step together.

01

Tell me what you have in mind.

Share your idea, who it’s for and what you’d like to improve. I’ll review it and, if we’re a fit, invite you to an initial conversation.

Start with a free enquiry
02

Make a plan worth investing in.

We look at your customers, the business opportunity and what’s needed first. You get a clear scope, price and timeline before a build begins.

Agree the approach and cost
03

Build it. Put it to use.

I design and build the agreed work, with checkpoints for your input. We agree how real users will test it and what support you need afterwards.

Clear milestones and handover
THE BUSINESS MATTERS TOO

What will make this worth it?

More enquiries. A product customers pay for. Hours of admin saved. We start with the value you’re trying to create, and look for evidence that people need it. If the idea needs testing first, I’ll recommend that before a larger build.

A good build supports a business. Customer demand, pricing and reaching those customers still need a plan.

Is the first conversation free?+

Yes. The enquiry and initial fit conversation are free. If your project needs deeper work, I’ll explain the options and price before you book anything. A creative session explores your business and ideas; a strategy session turns the direction into a written product brief. A straightforward website or an existing clear brief may go straight to a build quote.

What if I haven’t tested the idea yet?+

You don’t need all the answers. We can start by understanding your potential customers, checking what they need and planning a small test. Paying for a full app should follow a clear reason to believe it will be useful. Customer interviews, tester recruitment and research sessions can be included in your proposal or carried out by you.

Can we work together in person?+

Yes, in London by arrangement. I enjoy seeing how your business works and exploring ideas together. Video sessions and recorded walkthroughs are also options. We agree the format, any travel and the cost in advance. Filming or sharing behind-the-scenes content only happens with your permission.

How much will it cost, and how long will it take?+

That depends on what we agree to build. A focused website may need a few working days; a custom app usually needs more planning and testing. Your proposal sets out the deliverables, working days, feedback dates and price, including any ongoing software costs. I take on focused projects with a clear finish rather than open-ended development.

What will you need from me?+

Your knowledge of the business, agreed feedback and access to the people who will use it. Before we start, we decide who provides the copy, content, accounts and testers. You can supply them or ask for relevant support to be priced in. Technical checks and agreed defect fixes belong in the build. Additional research, content creation and new features are separately agreed.

What happens if something is delayed?+

Your build slot starts when the agreed essentials are ready. If content or feedback is late, we update the schedule and agree a new available slot for affected work. Build days and time waiting for feedback are shown separately, so you know what the timeline depends on.
